Freudian Slip in the Paper
Imagine my surprise reading the Pioneer Press, learning that the Autobahn in Germany is "no-holes-barred."
I guess they like the hardcore in Germany?

Ho-hum i thought i left a comment for the last post, but my cold Australian fingers must have fucked it up. I forget the comment anyway, and Hoorah for wacky Deutscheland!
Like your blog, thanks.

No worries, I have a spam filter and moderation enabled... so sometimes I have to go in and check my comments to catch the few that are actually *not* spam.
Thanks for the compliment!
Either a Freudian slip, or just plain idiocy. It's shameful how many people don't know that it's supposed to be "supposedly" - and not "supposably" or "subposeably".
Given that I went to college with two people who refused to correct the above mistakes, insisting that I was wrong, really, "no-holes-barred" is tame, and extremely likely.
Doesn't mean I don't like your explanation better, though.
I suspect idiocy, also. Mostly I was shocked that the editors didn't catch it.
