Real Sploshing, Again, or: Wishing for New Episodes

I want to really love Real Sex, but after my long, long love-affair with teh pr0n, there's not all that much new under the sun.

The good news is that there are still some episodes I haven't seen before. I do try to catch Real Sex when I can.

The bad news is that when I watch re-runs, somehow I manage to catch one or more of the following: sploshing, pony play, or that session on the blow-job instruction.

Am I wrong?

Now I do consider myself educated after being exposed to a lot of what they show, and I have seen some stuff that opened my eyes, all I'm saying is that some episodes seem to be in more frequent rotation.

I just wish there was more coverage of the BDSM spectrum, beyond the popular fetishization of vinyl clothing and objects used.

Real Sex?....Oh my!
See we aussies know nothing of such programs?!?!
Damn shame that?
Does that make us prudes?...Gods, one can hope not!

I honestly don't know a great deal about the differences in programming for "mature audiences" between the USA and Australia, but I suspect that it's likely that it's we Americans who would be viewed as the prudish.

Real Sex is probably the only consistently sex-positive show I have seen. The underlying message of the show seems to be that there are communities of people who find release in this or that practice. Accepting it makes them feel happier. There is a larger community that embraces them. I can infer that I am OK and that there are people who will accept me.

The show is sometimes very campy, but it's very reality-based (as much as anything in front of lights and a camera can be real). It appears to show otherwise normal people doing non-vanilla stuff. Possibly it was ahead of its time, considering the way that "reality TV" has exploded in popularity.

I still wish there more new episodes.

There are no such programs here in Australia (well none i have seen in all my years) that cater to "mature audiences".
We do get a huge variety of American shows here,( mostly the serials, comedies, CSI's etc) but they are far from anything in the likes of "Real Sex".
The best mature viewing we get here is a station/channel called SBS which for the most part are foreign language programs, and therein lies what i would deem the most "mature" programming we Australians are permiited on free to air television, Thus me saying perhaps we, or rather the Australian Broadcasting Commission are all a bunch of prudes.

Well, the FCC in the US is no friend of sexuality, either. But Real Sex is not broadcast over the free airwaves. Rather, it is on one of the "premium" cable channels. You can't get it unless you're paying for it, so theoretically if you are getting it, you want it.
