You Know You're Into Kink When...
There's a new sort of reality series called "Surviving History." It's a cross between, say, Mythbusters and an educational documentary. Basically there's a room full of guys from a special effects shop who, based on historical accounts, plan and build various devices from the past.
The episode I watched most recently included a sort of helmet that was designed to impede (but not prevent) vision, hearing, speech—and to induce shame in the wearer.
On some levels, that's really hot.
Allegedly, this was designed to silence a nag and to be worn in public. Also? It was a tool (the least horrific on the show dating from the same era in British history) to enforce Christian morality.
Right.
You couldn't make something more to-order for a sadist or a masochist if you tried.

I LOVE that show! that is called (I think) a 'nag's bridle"...
I love that show!! The one about the Cat O'nine tails was AWESOME!! :) Just made me wish I had one at that moment, to either use or have it used on me. YUM
Hmmm... I'm going to have to watch out for that show... ;}
